OUR HISTORY

Sovereign Church was Founded in 1995 By Pastor the late Gabriel M.K Tambwe and 5 people.

The church was originally formed to bring spiritual growth and serve the need of the Congolese and Swahili community in UK.

The church was Officially launched on 31st of August 1998 in East London with over 250 members by late 2001.

OUR PASTORS

Mania Tambwe is the Lead Pastor at Sovereign Church (ISPC) and also serves as President of UPIA vision - a charity helping families across Africa. Called to ministry at the age of 16 and was baptised and discipled by his late Father Mwana Tambwe Kibanza the founder of ISPC.

Pastor Mania is married to Benedict Kasima Tambwe and have two beautiful children. PM as we call him, carries the mandate to reveal Christ and raise a new generation that loves and worships God. A person who will bring spiritual, social change and impact to local communities and worldwide. “We are the hope for our world. We bring hope to a world that is full with so much pain, hate, struggles, rejection and darkness. We are a light that helps people see and hope for greater tomorrow” PM
